What to write in an opening post for a blog-website? - Tom - 05-09-2014 11:32 AM

By opening post I mean a post where I would tell a bit about the website.

First, welcome all of your visitors. Then tell them a bit about what your blog is about and what benefits they are gonna get if they visit your blog. What you want to share with them and ask from then about what they expect from you. You can also tell a bit of background about you or the topic your blog is about. You can also ask them to visit your Facebook or Twitter or Youtube channel.

Pretty much that is it. No one likes longer intro. Try to be as short as possible and to the point.

Hope it helps. Thanks.

I don't know why people decide to start blogs when they can't even think of what to write for an opening post. How are you going to write a good blog if you can't even think of something as basic as an opening post?

You know what this blog is about...WE don't. That means, you need to be the one to write the opening post.
