Hacking or no? - 342 - 05-09-2014 11:42 AM

Why do people use the work hacking like they actually hacked? For example, oh you left your FB logging in so I'm hacking you. I just think that's plain stupid. I mean I really want to see them get hacked without knowing their info. Stupid teens.

Hi Kalvin,
The reason this happens is because the Term Hacking BASICALLY means doing something unwanted or wrong to someones Computer related stuff. This could be Getting your FB password by force, or even just lying around there.
That is what the TERM HACKING actualy means.
Unusual Caused Behaviour Of electronic Devices is known as HACKING.

Yes... That is a problem for us all. Miscommunication is an awful emotion! Wink

They use "hacked" to deflect the blame of stupidity from themselves.

It's more socially acceptable to say "I've been hacked" (and get sympathy) rather than admit "I'm such an an idiot. I left my FB account logged on and <insert friend/sibling/other> used my account, stole my contacts and wrote all sorts of horrible stuff".
