Parking a domain earns very little revenue, this is often used by domain speculators who own thousands of names hoping the parking revenue covers the annual renewal fee, parking is much more effective for natural keyword names that people type in or one with existing backlinks.
A well developed site could earn thousands of times more revenue with Adsense.

Parking is not good enough. I will suggest you should build a blog and display adsense or affiliate ads on it. It will earn much more than domain parking.
