Don't you think Corporations would take full advantage and market to the new and rising group of Athiests? - †Archangel TJ† - 05-10-2014 09:26 PM

Corporations have always invested huge capital at making people buy their products. Don't you think marketeers are working hard to target the new and growing demographic of Athiests?

Especially if you use facebook, if you click 'like' on Athiests items, then click 'like' on consumer products, there will be push towards marketing specifically for this demographic group?

Won't you just become another victim?
In fact Consumerism is a religion http://www.huffingtonpost.com/matt-j-rossano/sacred-brands-consumerism_b_789303.html
To test this idea, researchers from Tel Aviv University and the Duke University School of Business did a series of studies exploring the idea that religion and brand reliance (investing subjective worth or value in a name brand) serve a similar psychological need -- the need to publically express one's self-worth (Marketing Science).
@gondor: That's a Scientologist ad.

We already have our own commercials, they're a little pretentious though.

so exactly what do you think they want me to buy ?
really, I have everything I want or need.
if I run out of beer, someone brings me some.
btw; I do not have a face book account either.

But what products would they sell? Genuine non-holy water (from the tap)?

Corporations are into making profits. Don't worry their invasive and corupt practices will infect us all, sooner or later. Profit has no predjudice.

They've already started, TJ, with racist test marketing of Axe fragrance:o)
