Go to the source: not some site that probably may not have a clue:

I would take anything this site says with a grain of salt. If they were really up on their game they wouldn't allow spam comments and they do. They would know, Being "experts" that you don't want to allow spam comments.

And I hope the onlinebusiness site isn't your site - especially since it pushes seo services and well, since you've asked a noob question about seo services and you are that site owner, it makes for baaaddd marketing.

Good sites for seo: seomoz and searchengineland. They've been around for a million years.

This question is extremley broad as there are hundreds of SEO techniques however the most important thing to keep in mind is keyword optimization. Be sure to use keywords related to your content repeatedly within the first 100 words and use attribute tags for your images that contain your keywords.

Obviously there are several other methods, what I will suggest is not to waste too much time on meta tags as Google and Yahoo rarely use them for indexing. There are several forums that cover SEO topics in more depth. See below.

Search-engine friendly means that designers, developers, programmers, and copywriters are following the rules set forth by the search engines. The people who create and maintain web search engines do not want to include and display web pages created purely to rank. Pages created purely for ranking purposes are called doorway pages, which are often software generated and/or cloaked. First of all, SEO friendly website design needs in order to have a solid foundation for its search engine optimization campaign.
