IP reported and Logged, what does this mean? - Joan - 05-11-2014 12:30 AM Okay so i was watching porn on a website similar to Xvideos and when i clicked on this video it just kept opening new tabs of different sites and eventually it came to a page that said this page has been blocked and that my IP had been logged and reported. I was not watching anything illegal and neither was i searching for it, although some of the tabs that were automatically opening did seem questionable and i closed them straight away. Does anybody have any information on this? I am very worried and have no i idea what to do. - Ash - 05-11-2014 12:37 AM Just surfing that site is illegal and thus your IP will be logged as a violator of that law. Don't worry though the telecom govt guys never follow up unless there is evidence of a major cyber crime. Just don't visit that site again. - Black Wolf - 05-11-2014 12:51 AM If it was a serious warning, I doubt it would've warned you about it, I mean if you did somehow manage to do something illegal, why would it inform you that the authorities know you did it? I would guess you ran into one of those sites that tell you your computer's infected and try to make you download a virus disguised as a anti-virus program. - tim is cool - 05-11-2014 01:01 AM dont be PORN! thats why you were doing it. so dont or else it will be in trouble for you |
