I want to do an iphone Instagram and I was wondering if I would be allowed to post pictures of cases or accessories I found online that aren't mine. Thanks!

Image use is a large and complex subject but to try to simplify: whether or not you can use an image depends on the owner of the copyright - if they say no reproduction then you have to specifically ask them or find something else, In practice, if you're copying a small image and linking it back to them with attribution then you should be okay.
