There was a website that I need to revisit for school that I went on in early September but I have no idea what it was anymore and it's not really a valid option to ask someone about it, so I was wondering if there was a way to recover your history??

No, there is not a way to recover the history you cleared on your iPad. Sorry. My advice is to bookmark the pages you think you might need later.
