If you're on a computer or smartphone, it shows a certain number of minutes by a person's name with a phone icon.
EX: My friend Amy has 29 m by her name. Does that mean she was online 29 minutes ago?

Yes ! If they are on moble most likely but on computer's aswell! Its a thing facebook added to show how long ago the person was active ! Its either that or how long ago they saw gour message , one of thoes two,
