Can i have 2 internet connections open simultaneous? - 558 - 05-11-2014 10:20 AM

Hi i was wondering if i can have 2 internet connections (in one Pc) open like my phone line and a wifi .Will it work?
If yes does this mean that if i disconnect from 1 then i will still have internet from the other?

It is possible but you need expensive router/gateways to work.
It use to be some what common when there was only DSL and slow modems.
Now with the high speed it was phase out but it is still possible.
To give you an idea of the challenge that was involved here is a 2003 page.

In windows there is a ify way if you have two different network cards, I don't really recommend it but backup your computer and give it a try.
