I'm using AIM 6.1.46.1. I tried turning my firewall off completely and I also tried resetting my modem to no avail. I also tried AIM express and I get a :Connection Failed. Please check your internet connection and try again" message. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm...that's a tough one. If you're Internet connection is fine, and you have used AIM before, then I would quit all your Internet applications, including AIM, and try reopening.
