I'm currently thinking about making a YouTube video on David Lynch's 1977 surrealist film Eraserhead. I'm not going to be using actual clips from the movie as that would be breaching copyright and I eventually want to partner my channel, so would movie stills be ok instead?
I don't mean to sound patronizing but movie stills are screenshot from paused parts of the movie.
Would I get flagged for copyright and have YouTube take a dump on my channel or would I be alright using the stills and monetizing my videos?

Yes..you can use..but no need
