Promoting my website? - James - 05-12-2014 11:14 PM

I am a general physician practising in my home-town. I own a website which doesn't turn up on the first pages of local searches. Tried so many consulting services and finally got fed up with it.
Anybody there to help me promote my healthcare website? I think I'll need to change my design and content stuffs too.

Nothing of that is needed.
Just add a resources page - if you do not have one already and keep updating it with new material like your new customers, new breakthroughs in your profession etc.

Firstly add your business in directories. By doing this you will get more references and backlinks for your website.

Ya madhi, i tried that link. This is something new i never saw.

Please tell me what your home town is ans also paste the link to your website. its difficult to give an advice of something you have never seen...Just like a physician who insist on checkup before prescribing Smile

Since you have all this money to throw at " so many consulting services", why don't you just save yourself all the time and grief you will continue to have and buy some adwords to get yourself #1?

Without actually seeing your website, it is hard to determine where the problem it. However, it is possible that you are like some of my clients. They designed their own websites before turning to me to help. The common problem I found was that they were either too technical; too wordy; did not utilize descriptive words to get good search results; or all of the above.

I would suggest that you get outside help, but without having to pay vast sum for it. I can recommend the staff at http://www.handzon.com, I have used them for two years. They give a free consultation, so it would not cost you anything to talk to them. They can look at what you have, make suggestions for change, but most of all, be sure that you are optimized for search engines to read.

Good Luck

Hi,
If you need to have your website on the first page of search you must have to do proper web designing and hosting services. I had my own health site and experienced the same problem. But after a proper web design now I am in the top of the search. If you have any doubts on medical web designing or hosting contact Dr. Leonardo
