OK I have internet or media net on my at&t mobile phone but no internet connection or home phone! Is it possible to use the connection on my phone to play online with my ps3??

wouldn't be fast enough.
careful with hooking up your cellphone to things like computers to use it for internet. Someone got a $60000+ cellphone bill because he was using his phones internet connection to download movies onto his computer lol.
