I am new to fb. I just created a new email address & joined and have around 60 friends. I have looked up my long distance ex on fb. However, he does not have my new email and we have no mutual friends whatsoever. He would not even know that I am on fb now. Why does he keep popping up on the top of the list of people I should add or I should know due to mutual friends. He is on the top of the list over people that have 10 - 20 mutual friends. How is it pulling his name when there is no longer a connection between us? Also, will I show up on his account for him to add me?
I have added no information that would in anyway pull him as any type of contact. Neither one of us has sent a friend request either.
We do not even live in the same town. We were in a long distance relationship, so it can't be something like that either. We have no mutual friends that I have added to fb.

It will suggest people you might know by your information you put on Facebook.

Its just the same as me when i'm new to fb.
