I own a Facebook page and I want to make someone else admin, while still keeping the admin rights myself.

Go to ur page. Click edit page just below the image. Than on almost lower middle of the page u will see the option "Admins" indicating u. Click Add and select the persons u want to make additional admins. This won't delete u from the main admin.
