Friend requests on FB: Are email notifications the default? - 506 - 05-14-2014 03:53 AM I accidentally sent a friend request to someone I DID NOT WANT TO. (my father whom I have very bad relations with and in a moment of weakness was looking at their page... anyway i am so stupid!!!!!!!!) I have cancelled the friend request, blocked them, then unblocked them! Will they still get a notification that I sent them a friend request or is it okay since I cancelled it? This is really important ! Thanks for your input, Seriously stressing! What are the chances that they would know? are email notifications default? It was like 1am when i sent it by accident. ACK. Should I just keep then blocked for a few weeks until it blows over? ![]() - Joe - 05-14-2014 03:58 AM no you can cancel that part - Regine - 05-14-2014 04:03 AM Since you cancelled the request the person will not be noified anymore. Unless that person is online 24/7 and checks all the time his profile. So dont worry at all. |
