Once set, it cannot be removed, and it will be activated on all user's account on 23 December latest.

yes i think its possible to removed
1- log in the Facebook.com
2- Goto the link https://developers.facebook.com/apps
3- select the app which you enable the time line like your account
4- go to the edit open graph
5- go to the delete option
