you can try posting ads on fb pages (i wouldn't unless you know the guy who owns it and have his permission or own it yourself)

1.) Content (depends on what vids do you make, singers/bands/comedians get the most subscribers cos u know, fangirls and fanboys lol)
2.) Video/Sound Quality
3.) Get into twitter and facebook
