How can I market my Baby Business? - Ryan - 10-16-2012 12:10 AM

I sell baby tutus, leggings, rompers, headbands and more. I put local ads in my State's classifieds and post stuff on Facebook but it's just not growing as fast as I'd like it to. I also have a etsy but no luck there either.

Do you have a website? A permanent place where your target market can go and buy your products?

If this is something that you'd continually do and produce, investing in a website will make a lot of sense. Yes, it can be a little expensive but consider turnkey solutions such as Yahoo Store to create an ecommerce site. If you are tech savvy, then you can create and develop your website as well.

Have you also tried selling on Craigslist? Make sure you have great photos that showcases the product. While ebay is more expensive than etsy, did you try to sell on eBay and how was the response?

You need a few things.

1) Website
2) Build your Facebook fan page up (don't sell all the time as you need to provide more value)
3) Build an email list
4) Post on Craigslist constantly (I post ads for other products 3 times a day in 20 cities)

Contact me if you need help on any of these as there are easy ways to do it.
