I heard they might have changed it so how does it work at the moment? This is for PC. I am used to playing games that require Internet connection like WoW and Starcraft 2 so will it affect me alot?

It says at the very bottom that permanent Internet was patched out of the game so thanks for the site.

yes it does require permanent internet connection. Check out my source, it will give you more light.
