Fishy situation about the Lowest Price Traffic School website? - Kayla - 05-14-2014 07:42 PM I logged into my account and saw that my credit card number was saved. Is that safe? allowed? normal? - GOD - 05-14-2014 07:43 PM It could be your browser that saved it or it could be the website. If the website address starts with Https:// and something after that then it is safe. The https means a secure website and the information is encrypted. If it just says http:// and no s after it then it is an unsecured site. - steve_hinesley - 05-14-2014 07:46 PM Generally it's not a good idea for a business to store credit card information, encrypted or not. It's safe possibly until a hacker breaks into their system and figures out how to decrypt the information, assuming it's encrypted in the first place. |
