I keep on getting emails in my inbox that are adds. When I go to "unsubscribe" from them, it takes me to my Facebook notification settings pages, where ALL my emails are disabled.

Sounds like you have been phished!
I would make sure my virus software is updated and run a full system scan. You could have spyware on your computer that is stealing your passwords.
Once the virus checker gives you a clean bill of health, I would change your Facebook password, as well as all other passwords you have used from that computer.
I assume you have antivirus software installed.
If not, here are a couple of free programs that you can download.
Make sure you update them before you run them.
