Is my thin hair issue going to be a problem with finding someone? - RedHood - 05-16-2014 12:26 AM

So I get my thin hair from my mother. I'm 17 and some people think that I'm prematurely balding, as it's only where my hairline starts. We all joke about it at school and I don't mind the jokes, but sometimes when attractive women point it out and say it negatively, it makes me wonder if this will give me an issue later on with a girl that I end up interested in. I can fix it to the point where it isn't as noticable, but I don't fix it because I don't want it to be a daily hassle.

What I look like on an average day.

What the back of my head looks like.

So does it take away from my looks? I'm not saying it like I'm Mr. Hot sh*t, I've been told I'm about average, but will this... I don't know how to really say it... hinder me when it comes to my looks?

Bald is no longer nearly the social stigma it used to be.

Cut your hair short, accept the inevitable that you're not going to have hair.

Will it affect your dating life? Some. Shallow people might reject you, truth is you don't want to be with them anyway.

Who you are is what matters, what you look like is simply a bonus.

The same is true of a girl you date.....it's great when they're hot, but it's just a bonus.
