How can I block Ads on Google Chrome? - asma - 05-16-2014 03:28 AM

So I tried to download something on my computer, but I guess it contained a virus or something. After i downloaded it I got a bunch of random ads popping up on my computer't remind me . I've already installed AdBlock and any other ad blockers I know of, but I still get a lot of unwanted ads. I really don't want to do anything that will somehow reset everything on my homepage, because I'm logged onto a lot of websites that I don't remember the passwords to.

adblock plus in the chrome web store. I would also suggest you run adware cleaner (i think that is the name) if you see it in a list with like combofix and those then it is the right one. I would suggest filehippo or majorgeeks to do so you dont' get more surprises
