May be it is due to the incorrect time and date. Correct your date& time.

There is an option for Top Stories or Recent Stories ( or somethin like that) > Click on Recent Stories > Refresh the page
I bet it'll show.

I think it's more of your browser missing something like flash that enables it to display Facebook and flash based sites correctly.

it Should Load Try Refreshing the Page Make Sure your Flash Player is Working If This Does Not Help Try a Different Browser Make Sure your Browsers Are Up to Date if All is To Fail Than There may be a Issue With Facebook at The Moment Try Again Later
