google chrome and ads question.? - 731 - 05-16-2014 09:14 PM

Hello I'm starting to see ads on every website I go to. It seems like this is only happening when I'm using google chrome. Did google chrome suddenly started adding ads? Every website I go to will have a banner on the top of the site advertising some sort of product. I first started noticing this while I was on my tumblr page, which has never happened before.

Try this:
CHROME> wrench icon> Preferences> Under the hood> Content settings> Cookies (heading): tick "Allow local data..." & "Ignore exceptions and block 3rd party..."> close tab.

Add-on's for Chrome;
AdBlock Plus (needs 'subscription' added after install).
