Currently learning korean. Need help translating something...? - Mitzi Kyrene - 05-17-2014 01:57 AM

I posted a picture on instagram and added a few korean word hashtags that I know and someone commented and I wanted to know what she meant. Here it is: 똑같이 생겼어영 ㅎㅎㅎ

mtwelles, please take note that it's the verb 생기다 (to look like something), not 생각하다 (to think).

똑같이 생겼어영 ㅎㅎㅎ means "(it) looks exactly the same hahaha". It could also mean "the exact same thing happened (to me)", but I'm pretty sure it's the first one.

Have a good day!

똑같이 생겼어영 literally means look the same. There's no subject pronoun because it's not always necessary to use subject pronouns in Korean. So it could be you (or it) look(s) exactly the same.
The adjective 같다 means the same and 똑같다 means identical.
People can also say 똑같이 생겼어, 똑같이 생겼어요 and they all mean the same thing. But some people use 똑같이 생겼어여 on the internet. And many girls (and some guys) use ㅇ at the end of the verb ending to sound cute (usually when they text).
And the Korean letter ã…Ž is like the letter h and ã…Žã…Žã…Ž means hahaha
