Normally I get like 150 likes for my pics but many of my friends get more than 300 likes so I want to know how to increase my likes and popularity on facebook.

Is there a competition or what? Try adding more and more people but if you have enough friends, then try to be active on their updates like always try to like their pictures and status updates , also try to comment .Then automatically they will start noticing you and will be more interested in liking your updates, you just need to socialize a lot, There is also an option of buying likes from sites like SEOclerks , you can also try this .
