Why doesn't Yahoo! Answers become more like Twitter, where they have "celebrity" accounts? - gossamer presents... Sarah! - 10-16-2012 01:55 AM

It would be a great marketing plan for Yahoo! Answers.

They used to do that... have celebrities ask questions, but I haven't seen it in a while.

Maybe we could get Bill Maher and Pat Robertson to comment here... maybe even the Dalai Lama.

There is enough cult thinking around here without adding the cult of celebrity.

They do, sort of. You can find official accounts in politics, and experts in some sections---like fitness or business, exc, that give professional advice. It would be a good plan to open up celebs in some sections, though.
Peace

no thanks...they get favored over others

The need for celebrities is an American trend as the USA has no Royal Persons.. so they turn ordinary folk into Icons and put them on pedestals, and when they make mistakes,(like normal people do), they get pelted with eggs. (Tiger Woods recent case)

Why do you think I'm here?
