so just recently my facebook app has been sending text messages really slowly, i would send the message and it just says "sending" then about 3-5 minutes later it finally sends. Ive re downloaded the app numerous times as well as facebook messenger and neither have worked.. Weird enough its instant when i send just a photo through messages?? I have a Iphone 4s IOS 5.0.1 so i dont have the latest verison of facebook and i dont want to update.
When i go on the mobile broswer version of facebook it works???? Why dont the apps work??

it's going slowly because you arent using the newest version of the app
