Google Calendar Desktop Alerts Software? - anon - 05-17-2014 04:35 PM

I use mainly Maxthon and Opera browsers i don't use chrome as it slows up my pc, it's quite old.

I use Google Calendar for our company appointments, i have shared them on our outlook 2007 but no alerts show up, only via browser.

Is there a desktop alert software I could use instead?

If you turn on 'Notify me before event' you will get an outlook alert for a google calender event.

Check your alert settings.

Cheers and Good Luck

Hi there, maybe you are open the google alerts. Go to the Google Calendar Desktop Alerts. And off Google Calendar notification.

VueMinder can sync with Google Calendar and show reminders on your desktop. It's a lot better than Outlook (and any other calendar program I've ever found). To add your Google Calendar to VueMinder, click the "Add Google Calendar" command on VueMinder's File menu. See the page linked below for more details:

VueMinder can be downloaded here:

I hope that helps!
