What's a good site to create a website? - baby Ghost - 05-18-2014 07:24 AM

I'm an recording artist & I finally decided to take things more seriously. I want to buy my own domain name & create a website that would allow me to post pictures, videos, & music. Have any good ideas where I can go to do that?

For a do-it-yourself site, I recommend Weebly.com. To sell your music online, I recommend Vibecdeck.com and ReverbNation.com. Check out my sites and music - http://www.spiritrunnersmusic.com.

Hi

I suggest you to start on a website builder to create your website
they are easy to use and drag and drop and they offer step to step Tutorials to get your website found on google and get lots of traffic and you can create your website in just 10 miniutes

Here are some websites builders you should try or start to create your website
see what's best for you.

http://www.weebly.com
http://www.yola.com
http://www.webs.com
http://www.angelfire.com
http://www.jimdo.com
http://www.webstarts.com

And on these website builders (above) you can put ads on your website and earn money from that or create a web store(ecommerce) like Amazon.com

I recommend Weebly.com and i still use Weebly.com (Over a year now)
I created a website on Weebly.com and its a voting website check it out http://www.pollsfun.com

Website builders are great getting a website up and running as fast as possible

They are all free!

Hope this helps

All these answers seem pretty good. I have bought from Godaddy but so far the cheapest I have found is register.com. I paid $.50 for my first 3 domains then the price went up. And there is alot of good hosting sites out there as well. Ipage has alot of tools and insentitives and free chat for any questions. Heres a blog that might give you some ideas on getting traffic to your site after you get it going,

thanks
