I have created lots of Wordpress sites, probably close to a hundred.You don't earn anything unless you're crating them for someone else and selling it to them or using them to sell your own products or affiliate products.
URLs are just the same.

My brand new membership site was built with WordPress and has made over $7000 USD in the last few weeks, but those are exceptional results. The most important thing isn't your website; it's the market you're targeting and what you're selling. If you sell products or services that people want to buy, it doesn't matter what your website looks like - people will buy it.
