What`s better out of the Samsung Galaxy Ssomething or iPhone 4S? - H3llo_Lol - 05-18-2014 12:01 PM

I know more about iPhones than Samsung Galaxy phones.

I want one or the other for my birthday. All of my friends tell me their iPhones are great but my mum`s telling me the Samsung Galaxy has less problems, all apps are free, etcetc.

Anyway, my mind was set on iPhone but now I`m not too sure..
What do y`all think? What are your experiences on both or what do you recommend?

Cheers y`all.
All I`m really after is internet, texting, apps and games.

If you're used to the iPhone, I suggest continuing with the iPhone. You have apps you have already purchased or enjoy using on the phone already, and transfering these apps is easy as setting up your iTunes account and boom your done. If you switch over to an Android device, you'll need to hunt down those apps in the Google Play store and install them all ( if they're even available on the Play store.-- I remember when Instagram was an iDevice only program and I could only get underdeveloped paid for wanna-be Instagram type of apps on my Android ...) Now days a majority of the most popular apps are going to be developed for both platforms, due to the better numbers of developers and funding. Also consider the charging situation. You're out with your friends and all the sudden you hit that low battery notification and you ask them for a charger. If you've got an android, chances are because they've all got iDevices they're not carrying the microUSB adapter for the Android device and you're doomed. But if you've got an iPhone, you can share the charger. Well, those are about the main selling points that i'll give you. The selling points for an Android device include removable battery (bring a second one when you run out of juice) removeable storage (up to 64GB of space to keep those songs and pictures in) and the Android OS in general is pretty fancy, customizable to the max. If you want more info for each phone go to GSM arena, they'll give you the hard facts on the devices. Good Luck and happy early birthday! Smile
