There's really no direct connection of the host to revenue, as long as you don't have a miserably slow loading site. For not much more you can get an "unlimited" account that allows you to add more sites at only $1 a month for the added domain name (hopefully obtained elsewhere)

You can probably find a training booklet for a few dollars that would address a lot of the basic issues you are considering, the member authored (WSO) tutorials at Warriorforum.com are pretty cheap (don't believe the typical earning claims)

The discussions on this forum may be more objective than the typical host review site earning commissions for recruiting customers. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/
