I'm selling things online both personally and as a business and I was wondering if there are any websites that I can share links to the things I'm selling so as to increase traffic to them and thereby increase the potential of getting sales and starting more intense bidding wars.

and find similar sites which generates traffic.

The point of eBay is to bring customers to you without the need for additional advertising. If that isn't the case, you're doing something wrong on eBay.

you pay the ridiculous ebay fees so they advertise them for you...just make sure you fill your title with the keywords of your product.
