There is an annual $299 site review fee to get into the index, which is not as valuable as it once was.

Dont worry about much, just keep on adding good content. And share with your friends and family. To your website, then automatically your website ranking will come up and then, you will be listed every where.
Example is, http://openingsweknow.in
Also if you want to display fast, you have to submit it to every website manually. Or you can hire SEO guy.

There are two types of listings, Basic(Free) and Enhanced listings(Paid).
