I hate how everything I post seems to add to the newsfeed.
It's an older picture I already have on there, I just wanted to add a description to it. Will it post to the news feed?

Yes, it will show up on your news feeds and notifications of your friends, but can be set to not notify Facebook friends.

Hello, When you edit any picture that already exist in the album in Facebook then it will show up in the news feed showing edited written in the next line. It will show up in everyone's timeline who are added in your profile as new status update. You can keep privacy setting to that picture for not showing to few people or public or private, etc.
