So I asked my mom how much she was paying for the internet she said 43(approximately)dollars. So I decided to go to at&t U-verse(Which is my provider aswell) and I made a little search on how much the internet cost and I also did a bit of researched on the "Tiered 1,2,3&4." I saw that the higher the prices go obviously the better the performance but those prices weren't 43dollars but lower than that amount that my mom is paying and we have shitty connection when more than 1 person is using it (only 2 people that I know of uses it) So my question is how can I check what kind of internet Im using like is it a tier 1 2 3 or 4? or is it a basic internet? My mom bought this back then basically I had no knowledge of what internet to get... please help

I hate to burst your bubble but no matter what you get from AT&T, you're getting screwed. Get some cable internet. AT&T has either DSL or wireless internet and NEITHER of the 2 can compete with cable internet.

Cable broadband better.

Get cable internet. The basic package will be fine, most of the tiered things are for if you have like 20 devices connecting to it at once.
