Problems with my internet connection....? [details inside]? - 934 - 05-20-2014 11:49 AM
I think I have a virus that is affecting my internet connection on the other computer. I open the Internet Explorer but it only shows a blank page, the status bar shows 'Done' and nothing shows up. I cant understand why this is happening, I checked the settings from the Control Panel and everything seems fine.
What should I do?

try downloading mozilla firefox, windows internet explorer is a peice of junk firefox is faster and safer and more customizable

did you type in the address in the address bar?
Try this out..
Start - > Run
type cmd and press enter
type ping http://www.google.com and press enter..
you should get some response similar to below..
C:\Users>ping http://www.google.com
Pinging http://www.l.google.com [209.85.153.147] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 209.85.153.147: bytes=32 time=28ms TTL=54
Reply from 209.85.153.147: bytes=32 time=32ms TTL=54
Reply from 209.85.153.147: bytes=32 time=67ms TTL=54
Reply from 209.85.153.147: bytes=32 time=48ms TTL=54
Ping statistics for 209.85.153.147:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 28ms, Maximum = 67ms, Average = 43ms
if so, you have internet connection.. else need to check with your ISP
