Need advice badly with something? - 696 - 05-21-2014 03:19 AM

So I was at this Christmas Eve Party yesterday and this really beautiful girl comes and talks to me. We talked the entire party, literally until you had to leave I talked to her. She seemed like she was in to me. (We were talking about tennis and she found out that I played tennis) she told me she had never played a real game of tennis, but only done practices. Then she told me she really needs to get ready for the tennis season at my school (i'm playing too). She was also twirling her hair and stuff like that too. There's only one problem, she's a senior and i'm a freshman. We followed each other on twitter so I was either going to DM her if she wanted to play tennis with me this weekend (right before she left I said, "Hey maybe we should play tennis sometime." I think she said "Yea that'd be cool" but I was so wrapped up in the fact that I successfully talked to a senior I didn't hear her.) Or should I wait 2 weeks for school to come back in and ask her then. Should I even ask her?

Does she even know you're a freshman? If she finds out I don't think she will want to talk to you any more.

If you are any good at tennis for real, than asker now do not wait for the two weeks. Her dance card will be filled up by then. If you don't know what a dance card is - do a search. Smile

Yeah, it sounds like she was digging you at the party. Word of warning though, I suspect that she knows you play tennis, and just said that to have an in to start the conversation. Likely she did her research before meeting you. Girls are sneaky that way. Also call her if you want. She might really want something, and I suspect that if she hung out with you the entire party that you could continue something.

Word of warning again. This is likely not a relationship that will last. Seniors graduate and move on. If she goes to college, you have another 3 years of HS. A lot can happen in 3 years.

My suggestion is that you wait. Don't be overly anxious to jump in a relationship with a Senior.

Yes! Ask her. She obviously is interested in you. It was her way of trying to get to hang out with you. Don't wait. If she was twirling her hair that is definitely a good sign. You have to seize the an opportunity like this. So I would not a wait a single day longer. Ask her today. If anything you would develop a good friendship.
