Microsoft pushed IE 11 out to everyone as part of their security updates, and you must have downloaded it along with everything else.
If you never use Internet Explorer, you can hide all the IE 11 updates as they become available. If you just un-check them they'll be offered to you over and over again. To hide an update, right-click on it and choose "Hide this update" If you ever find yourself in the position where you have to use IE 11, choose "Un-Hide Updates" so you can get them so you won't be running an unpatched browser.
