I am trying to start a website, any good domain host? - G.W Kush - 05-21-2014 08:42 PM

Firstly, register a domain name and then organize hosting from say http://www.Hostgator.com.

Many people recommend that you don't have your domain name and hosting with the same company- all you have to do is change the DNS for your domain name to that of your host company - your host would tell you what to do.

A cheap & easy way to set up a online store is to use the free Wordpress script(Hostgator provides it) together with an e-commerce plugin such as the free WP-ecommerce plugin or the paid WP-eStore plugin. Lots of free themes available for your Wordpress site.

I'd go with a host like http://www.marchmedia.ws
They have good rates for small businesses and such, plus you get direct support.
