Would you replace Internet Explorer with Google Chrome? - Julian S - 05-21-2014 10:10 PM

I have Windows XP - what are the benefits of Google Chrome?

Hi Julian,
I truly recommend Google Chrome, as it is blazing fast, provides you with an incognito mode (a mode in which nothing appears in your history :3), it is incredibly easy to switch to, it also has its own task manager, you can also drag tabs out and back in, all these aspects of chrome are just minor things when compared to chromes full potential!

Hope I helped and Good luck! =D

It might be faster, if your Computer came factory fitted with Xp, Chrome may not run very smooth at all. I tried it on a Pentium 4 the other day it was slow, I had to take it off. Even though it says it works with the link below its slow.

So the answer to your question would depend on what system you have. I think Chrome works best on systems with modern Dual core processors

ie is part of windows it cant be replaced it will always be there personally i suggest firefox better than chrome here are some of the benefits

Nope. Too invasive (probably lets Google monitor your browsing habits), not popular enough to have good user support and it lacks the 'add-on' extensibility of Firefox.

I just use both, plus 3 other web browsers.
