Google Blogger Help? - 695 - 05-22-2014 06:08 AM

I can't change the color of my blog title. The option just isn't there. My friend let me log into her gmail to see if she could because I know I've seen the option to do so before. It was there on her blog but not mine. How can I fix that?

Also, I have a blog on this one gmail account I had the blog with my friend but it didn't work out and now it's just my blog, the blog has been going great but I have this other gmail account, I use it as my main account, for youtube and google+ and everything but I want to be the owner of the blog and not have to sign into the other email and just use the email I use for youtube and google+. Is there any way I could do that?

1. You are using an old blogger template i.e.(not suported now, apparently)

Blogger Template Style
Name: Minima Black
Date: 26 Feb 2004
Updated by: Blogger Team

2. Consider updating to one of the latest Blogger templates

3. You will have better facilities for changing things like that the blog title

4. Blogger templates > help forum > Blogger Template Designer > link > https://support.google.com/blogger/answer/176245?hl=en

5. I note you are copying & pasting text from an external source into your posts which will not help things & can all sorts of problems > inculding different sized post fonts > which you are suffering from

If using MS Word or similar it is suggested to:

6. Copy and paste the text from MS Word into "Notepad" - plain text editor - which removes the unwanted formatting

7. For a Mac the equivalent to Notepad is textedit

8. Then copy and paste the text from "Notepad/textedit" into the post

9. Format the text etc within blogger

10. And publish

Or

11. If using Google Chrome / Firefox and MS Word or similar

12. Copy the text from MS Word or similar

13. Go to the post editor > then use the keyboard keys > CTRL + SHIFT + V > to place your text without any of the unwanted formatting into the post

To remove the unwanted formatting completely from a post:

14. Edit your posts via "Compose" mode

15. With your mouse cursor within the post editor > press > Ctrl A > on your keyboard > that should select everything

16. Then click > T with the red x > in the top section menu > that is the > "Remove Formatting" tool > that should remove the unwanted formatting

17. Format the text, paragraphs, image settings, etc within Blogger, then update/republish
