Why is Adsense cost per click/revenue so volatile? - Stefan - 05-22-2014 08:06 AM

Hi,

I have Adsense activated on my Blogger blog http://singapura-serendipity.blogspot.sg

Some days, the CPC I get is very low, at around 0.1-0.3 cpc and other days the cpc is very high at 30+ cents.

Moreover, revenue is very volatile, increasing by 300% one month and then dropping 400% the next month.

My question is: how can one optimize CPC/RPM and stabilize it on a high level, reducing earnings volatility?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Stefan

This is a common issue for many people. The onsite activity can be global. People visiting your site could be from any location. I would suggest you track your site through Google Analytics. You can watch the Analytics demonstration video on youtube. It is about 20-25 minutes long. It will help you know the landing and interest of your readers. Knowing what your readers like can also increase your revenue, if you can provide quality content.
