I have recently aquired a new computer. This computer is set up to a wired internet connection. I went to go change to a wireless in the Control panel > Network and internet > Network Connection and all it had was a local area connection. How to i get it to use my wireless network?

You have Wifi dongle or Router..
You 1st install up hardware item..?
You use to router,can you plug the network cable in your pc modem & go to your internet partner guide web site & create setting configure.What is your network partner.you call him.

Go to : Control Panel
Then go to : Network & connections
there u will find how to create a new network or start a new wireless network
