How annoying is Facebook [Developers]? - Yolrit - 05-23-2014 05:07 AM

Developer, have you ever noticed this? Recently, Facebook released the hash-tag system. Now, only a select number of users can utilize it. Just a while back, Facebook released a new user interface, however, only certain individuals were allowed to use it. Those individuals usually consisted of socialites. Developers, tell me how annoying that is! Facebook is the only service I know that works this way. Most companies release their new updates to developer way before ever releasing it to the general public. We are developers... We should have these features before the general public. We shouldn't be segregated from utilizing the new features just because we don't use Facebook like some individuals use it. Please give me input...

I always sign up for beta previews to get these things before others but can you believe I end up getting them AFTER my friends who have not signed up to the early preview! WTF!!!

I have helped integrate Facebook code with a few sites. Randomly, I or the website, will get a message saying that our code will no longer work in a few days. These messages aren't very specific either. First of all, old code should not stop working, especially code that was only written a year or less ago. Second, if it is going to, send the email well in advance so everyone is not scrambling to find problems.
