Iphone 3gs deleted my pictures when it turned off!!? - 462 - 05-23-2014 12:41 PM
I have an Iphone 3gs and today I had taken some pictures but when I got home and my battery was 8% i was looking at the few I had took. Then my phone died but when I plugged it into the charger and got it on I went to upload the pictures to Facebook but they were deleted! All my other pictures that i have taken are still there, it just deleted the ones I took today!
I was just wondering if there is anyway of getting them back at all? and how common is this?

To be honest with you, this has never, ever happened in the two months I've had my iPhone. That's very unusual. Were you editing them in the integrated iOS 5 editing or in Instagram, etc? That may have wiped it off since you're phone does not memorize and then return to what you were doing when you turn your phone back on. I'm really sorry about this. I'd take it to Apple and see what they have to say about it. Sue them like the lady who broke her nose did! (just kidding, don't sue apple for that)
